It’s Canadian Music Week here in Toronto. Is it Canadian Music Week anywhere else in Canada? I don’t know. Coincidentally (sometimes), I spent a lot of time with things musical today, including a conversation about the iPod which plays AAC files versus the rest of the devices in the world which play WMV files, because I am a DRM tyrant by day, which isn’t a bad thing, or at least it won’t be when I can put DRM WMV files on my iPod. When’s that class action lawsuit going to hit?
This of course is why I picked today to notice that Yahoo Music has their Canadian offering out now. I might actually consider it, even though I use my Mac/iPod for most of my music - it depends on how up-to-date their inventory is. We’ll see.
